Thanks to the generosity of past and present parishioners, we are grateful to have the funds needed to complete several much-needed projects this spring and summer. However, these efforts will significantly deplete our capital reserves. Now, we turn to you, our faith community, to help replenish our Building Capital Fund, ensuring we can address future maintenance and repairs in a timely and responsible way.

Caring for Our Church Home:

A call to stewardship

We’re excited to share the details of our 2025 Capital Project
—an essential investment in the future of our church home. Here's a look at what's included:

Rectory Roof Replacement
The flat roof on the rectory—originally installed in 1982—will be replaced. We’ll also complete roof repairs where mechanical units are removed or added.

Front Facade Renewal

The old cedar shakes along the front of the church, from the east side of the rectory to the northeast end of the building, will be replaced for improved appearance and durability.

Sanctuary Heating & Cooling Upgrade

Due to moisture damage, the under-slab ductwork in the sanctuary is no longer usable. We’ll be installing new wall-mounted ducting along part of the sanctuary’s perimeter.

New Heating & AC Units

Two rooftop heating and cooling units—after serving us faithfully for 40 years—will be replaced. These units provide comfort in the sanctuary, sacristy, music room, chapel, and confessional. Two rectory furnaces will also be upgraded.

Why Now?
Our beautiful church has stood strong for over 40 years, but time has taken its toll.
This project is essential to: Prevent further structural and water damage. Maintain a safe and comfortable space. Ensure our church continues to serve future generations

How much Will it Cost?
The total project cost is approximately $957,000. Thanks to your past generosity, we expect to have enough funds but it will require a significant draw from our savings. That’s why we’re launching our Caring for Our Church Home fundraising campaign. In the coming weeks, you’ll hear how you can be a part of this important effort.

Who's Leading the Work?
We’re in good hands! Rely-Ex Contracting has been selected as our general contractor. They’ll be working closely with our Parish Building Committee throughout the entire process.

Timeline
Work is expected to begin in early spring and wrap up by late summer. We’ll keep you informed with regular updates along the way.
