Liturgy
The Church teaches:
The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the font from which all her power flows. For the aim and object of apostolic works is that all who are made sons of God by faith and baptism should come together to praise God in the midst of His Church, to take part in the sacrifice, and to eat the Lord’s supper. (Sacrosanctum Concilium #7, Vatican II)
Please consider getting involved in helping your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to pray.

Ministry of the Word (Lectors)
Yours is the share in the work of the Lord’s Spirit who opens our hearts to God’s Holy Word. Yours is the task of telling our family story, the story of salvation. Yours is to proclaim the true and saving Word of God. Yours is the ministry of the table of God’s Word, which feeds the hungers and longings of our hearts for truth. Yours is to offer the story of the “great things the Lord has done for us,” that we might turn to the table of the Eucharist with good cause to give thanks and praise. Training provided.

Available on FORMED
Although the Eucharist appears to be simple bread and wine, it is actually the "source and summit" of the Christian life. Presence: The Mystery of the Eucharist explores the truth and beauty of Christ's real presence in the Eucharist, from its origins in Sacred Scripture, to its profound role in the life of the Church and her members. It is the crescendo of the entire story of salvation.

Funerals
Catholic funeral rites consist of three services: the Prayer Vigil, Funeral Liturgy, and Rite of Committal. The Vigil helps mourners cope with death, find solace in faith, and remember the deceased. The Funeral Liturgy is a central celebration that recalls Christ's resurrection and prays for the deceased to share in it. The Rite of Committal acknowledges separation, entrusts the deceased to God, and recognizes the enduring spiritual connection between the living and the dead, anticipating a future reunion in the resurrection.
