Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Committee identifies and tries to find ways of responding to those most in need in the parish and the wider community, when and where it is possible. It gives parishioners the opportunity to give time, talent and treasure to important or urgent needs in our community.

If you are in need of support, please contact Kelly Wormsbecker, 306.374.1425 or kwormsbecker@rcdos.ca.

If you would like to volunteer, please sign up below. Thank you!

Ministry of Care

If you need prayer, support, a visit (with the Eucharist or otherwise), Anointing of the Sick, or assistance with funeral planning, Ministry of Care is just a phone call or email away.

Funeral Ministry

On the occasion of the death of a loved one, the care and compassion of the parish community is exercised in many ways. This group prepares and serves lunch/refreshments following the funeral liturgy.

Food Donations

A food container is available at the church entrance to receive your gifts of non-perishable food. All food collected goes to Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Pantry. Why not try on a weekly basis to bring an item of food? It will be a great reminder of God’s blessings and how we are called to bless others.

Development and Peace

Development and Peace — Caritas Canada, the official international development organization of the Catholic Church in Canada, is a democratic movement for global solidarity rooted in Catholic Social Teaching.

Available on FORMED

Eternal Rest examines the origin of death, the afterlife, and the powerful reality around the sacrament that ushers us into eternal life. Eternal Rest presents the Catholic Church’s teaching about death and God’s response to it with wisdom and truth, gentleness and compassion, so we can think about and prepare for death in the light of Jesus Christ, the Author of life.
