Hello Holy Spirit Parishioners,
Bishop Mark Hagemoen has issued the directive What to Expect When Public Mass Resumes.
“We know the desire to return to your parishes, participate in the liturgy, and receive the Eucharist is incredibly strong, but we ask that everyone approach this reopening with a patient, loving and charitable mindset.” ~Bishop Hagemoen
Unfortunately, Holy Spirit will not have public Masses this weekend. There are many things to consider before we move forward. We hope to begin May 31, Pentecost Sunday. We are committed to working with health experts and civic leaders in determining how to reopen safely.
We will be making a two-week schedule to start. To date only 10 people can gather together, including the priest.
TO SIGN UP FOR MASS:
- Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name(s) saying “Yes, I would like to sign up for Mass,” or
- Call the parish office at 306-374-1425 and leave a voicemail with your full name and phone number telling us you want to sign up for Mass.
Once sign-up is complete we will determine how many Masses we can have, in keeping with restrictions and guidelines. We will keep everyone updated regularly.
Remember, general dispensation from the Sunday obligation still remains and there is no pressure to attend. If you are elderly or in a vulnerable category as determined by the Government of Canada please do not sign up. We will still be live streaming Mass on Sundays at 12 noon.
Above all, let’s continue to keep one another in prayer. God bless you and your family.
